About Katherine A. Hayes

I’m Katherine A. Hayes, a third-year student at Northeastern University, majoring in Marketing with minors in History and International Affairs. My passion for marketing has led me to some amazing opportunities, most notably working for Rapid7 as an Inbound Marketing Intern on the Digital Marketing team. At Rapid7 I’ve honed my marketing skills relating to website design, content creation,  keyword research, website optimization, advertisements, and much more. My co-op at Rapid7 was a fantastic experience, where I learned more than I had even hoped to learn, and I am now looking forward to continuing to develop and enhance my marketing knowledge. Starting in January I will be working at VMware in Palo Alto, California, where I will be a Brand, Creative, and Content Co-Op.

In addition to marketing and I am also passionate about travel. I have had the opportunity to study abroad in France my freshman year, where I explored many surrounding countries. This past summer I traveled to Poland to study World War II and Cold War history and updated my blog to share my travels.
